This Global Climate Coalition (GCC) mailing, “To Tell the Whole Story on Global Climate Change…,” was used by the group to entice potential members or interested people into hearing the GCC position on climate change. The industry-funded GCC opposed greenhouse gas regulations through direct engagement, like the mailer presented here, and collaboration with affiliated climate deniers from 1989 to 2002. Its membership spanned across the automotive, utility, manufacturing, petroleum, and mining industries.

This mailer, or brochure, did not outright say that GCC is a climate denial group, but instead states that they are, “Providing balance in the global climate change debate.” The bottom of the brochure listed some of GCC’s members, which included the American Petroleum Institute, the Edison Electric Institute, and the National Coal Association.
