2000 GCC Oil Prices an Omen for Life Under Kyoto Protocol

This 2000 Global Climate Coalition (GCC) press relese, preserved by the Internet Archive, questioned the economic impacts of the Kyoto Protocol by citing an increase in fuel prices. The industry-funded GCC opposed greenhouse gas regulations through direct engagement and collaboration with affiliated climate deniers from 1989 to 2002. Its membership spanned across the automotive, utility, manufacturing, petroleum, and mining industries.
