1995 GCC Climate Watch Bulletin Vol. 3 Issue 1

This document is the Global Climate Coalition’s (GCC) January/February 1995 Climate Watch Bulletin (Volume 3 Issue 1). The bulletins were a part of GCC’s larger mission to oppose greenhouse gas regulations and contest the scientific validity of anthropogenic climate change through direct engagement and collaboration with affiliated climate deniers. Its membership spanned across the automotive, utility, manufacturing, petroleum, and mining industries. The bulletins generally updated readers on climate change policy and science developments.

An “International News Update” containing articles on methane, emissions reductions, and a European Union carbon tax.

This issue also contained the following pieces: “U.S. Need Realistic Policy Goal,” “Arctic Studies Show No Global Warming Trend,” “New Finding Challenges Climate Models, Warming Forecasts,” “Phony ‘Trends’ Discovered In Weather Data,” “Scientists Blast Misuse Of Climate Models,” “Temperature Records Paint Puzzling Picture of Warming,” “Leading Scientific Journal Rebukes IPCC For Press Release,” “New Global Agency Would Forecast Climate,” “International Aid Bankers Give Green Light To Climate Change Projects,” “Weekly Feature Tracks Weather Events, Environmental Disasters,” and “DOE Issues Final Guidelines On Reporting Greenhouse Gas Reductions.”

This document is part of the private collection of Nicky Sundt, a Washington-based climate change science, policy and communications expert.
