1977 Report on Exxon’s Financial Contributions

This 1977 document contains Exxon’s financial contributions for the year.  The report applauds Exxon for contributing over $5 million to activities concerning the “well-being of citizens.” The report shows that Exxon contributed to a variety of interesting organizations, including the Scientific Committee on Problems of the Environment.  The report reveals Exxon contributed a total of $2.5 million to public information and policy research, and $500,000 to environmental organizations.
